Hello ICC Family!
Just a quick note to wish you well on this holiday week between Christmas and New Years. I hope that each of you had a wonderful Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior - whether with family, friends, or on your own. Be encouraged - our Savior has come!
Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.
Psalms 112:4
I came across this verse just now and wanted to send it out to those of you that perhaps have been struggling for whatever reason. This is a powerful promise and should encourage all of us that no matter what we are dealing with personally, there is hope and a promise of deliverance - just like with the dawning of a new day. No matter how bad things look culturally, politically, economically, etc…. there is hope and a promise of better things to come. We just need to remember to walk in holiness with the Lord, and ask him to help us shine the light of his gospel to all of those around us.
We will be meeting tonight as normal for our fellowship dinner at 5:45 and our discipleship and prayer time at 6:15. If you are not spending time with family or traveling, why not come and join us? It would be wonderful to see you there!
Praying for all of you!
Pastor Aaron
