Hello ICC Family!
Christ will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation
to all who are eagerly waiting for him.
Hebrews 9:28
Merry Christmas to all of you! Last night we had a great hour of readings and carols with our church family. Today, whether you are with your family, or on the road, or all by yourself, I hope and pray you are having a wonderful day! Please spend some time contemplating the birth of our Savior and the love and presence of the Lord in your life. As the verse above promises: Christ is coming back! May we be found to be some of the ones that are waiting - even searching for him!
We will not have any services tonight since it is Christmas Day, but we look forward to seeing you on Sunday at our normal worship time of 10:30 AM. We will be blessed to have Brother Steve giving the message.
I leave you with this poem reflecting on the verse above…
“Look up, you whose gaze is fixed on this earth,
who are spellbound by the little events and changes on the face of the earth.
Look up to these words, you who have turned away from heaven disappointed.
Look up, you whose eyes are heavy with tears and who are heavy and who are crying over the fact that the earth has gracelessly torn us away.
Look up, you who, burdened with guilt, cannot lift your eyes.
Look up, your redemption is drawing near.
Something different from what you see daily will happen.
Just be aware, be watchful, wait just another short moment.
Wait and something quite new will break over you: God will come.”

Blessings to you all. And know that I am praying for you!
